I loved Mt. Vernon so much! It made me appreciate Washington more than I ever have. He was such a well-rounded, hardworking and charitable man. He had businesses, took Martha's grandchildren as his own children, saved money for his slaves to use after they were freed and accomplished so much more. He was a great 1st president.
All the memorials and monuments were so beautiful at night.
