Bureau of Engraving, Holocaust Museum, and Ford's Theatre

One Million Dollars

Washington Monument

Old Post Office

Ford's Theatre

The gun that killed Lincoln.

The spot Lincoln was sitting when he was shot.

The bed Lincoln died in.

It was very cool to see the making of money at the Bureau of Engraving. So much work goes into each dollar bill! There was a sign on the wall that said "I printed my lifetime earnings in a couple of minutes." Creative.

The Holocaust Museum was very cool. There was so much to see and look at. You could spend hours in there. I liked that you could see the before and after and not just the concentration camps which is what most history books focus on. I was amazing to realize that no one really knew what was going on.  It really shows the enormity of it all and the torture and heartache that the people went through.

The museum at Ford's theatre really made you appreciate Lincoln and the type of man he was. It also made you realize how much some people loved him.
