I've realized recently that I have an addiction. It is baking. I went over a week without baking and almost died. Baking cookies last night made me so happy!

I said goodbye to Utah on Saturday. A two week trip can get kind of long. I missed my bed a ton and the smell of California air. I did have an amazing trip, spending time with my cousins and getting ready for college. Even though Utah smells like a cow, I am so excited to live there for the next few years and go to BYU. Its going to be so much fun!!!

My cousins and I went to Park City and we rode the Coaster. It is way more fun than the slides and the zip line. I did miss riding up the ski lift though.

Comedy club and cake adventures

On Thursday, I started baking cake. It did not go as well as I had hoped. The cakes kept sticking and ripping in half but I didn't have time to make more so I just stuck with what I had. Then on friday morning, I started making frosting and fondant. frosting the cake was pretty east, except for the top layer because it kept crumbling. Making the fondant was a new experience for me. Its amazing how marshmallows and sugar can turn into that. I was pretty excited. Then I covered the cake and decorated it. By that time, my friends were going to be over in 30 minutes. I jumped in the shower and got ready super quick and then my friends were over to go to the National Comedy Theatre. It was so much fun and the people there are absolutely hilarious. There are points where you are laughing so hard you cannot breath. After we went to In-n-Out and saw a guy in a kilt and whistled at some people. Then we went back to my house and ate the cake!!!

Downtown/Coronado

My friends and I had a lot of fun this past Wednesday at our mutual activity riding the ferry from downtown to Coronado. We bought some yummy treats, watched sailboats in the sunset, and took lots of crazy pictures. I'm going to miss these girls when I go off to college.

I always thought pink was my favorite color when I was a little girl, but it wasn't. I love red. Its just a wonderful color and looks good with so many other colors and makes you feel happy. Also, my truck is red so that might be a factor of my love. These shoes are so amazing. Not only are they red sandals but they are saltwaters, making them the most comfortable sandals ever. I think I want every single color of saltwaters. That wouldn't be bad at all.

Yesterday my family and I went to Mission Bay to watch fireworks. It's a pretty amazing show as fireworks are shot off from the water. We got there at about 6, got a spot and started waiting for the show to start at 9. At 8:55 there were a crazy amount of fireworks shot off. And that was the show. It was supposed to be a test but instead all the fireworks went off in about 12 seconds. It was the best firework ever, but the worst fireworks show ever. Definitely a very memorable one.
