California Summer

While I've been in California not a ton has happened as many of my friends live in Utah or are on missions. Lately I've been doing a camp at my house to save up for a car. At the camp about 20 kids come to my house and we do crafts, games and then they swim in our pool. It can get pretty hectic, but it pays really well. I went to Aquatica (a water park in San Diego) and it used to be way better before sea world bought it but maybe I'm just bitter because my most favorite ride was closed. I also went to Sea World with some friends and it was pretty amazing. I haven't been in at least 10 years and it was so much fun! The shows have improved a lot and so have many of the exhibits. A new roller coaster was added and it is a blast! I felt like a little kid as I watched the tricks that the animals did. It was wonderful.

Utah Summer

I spent about 2 weeks in Utah of my summer before I came back to California to work for the rest f the summer. Here's what I did while there!

Had a pig party. You eat with no hands. 

Partied with family at my uncle's reception.

Saw one of y best friends off on her mission.

Went to stadium of fire and saw Kelly Clarkson and Carly Rae Jepsen perform.

And hung out with this cutie. 

Here comes the sun

It only seems fitting that while studying for my last final before summer is here that "Here Comes the Sun" would shuffle on my computer. Almost there. 10 more hours to freedom. I can taste summer!

Looking through my pictures last night I realized two things. I have amazing friends and I like food. This term I have made some of the greatest friends. Even though its only been 6 weeks I feel like I've known these people forever. I'm so glad that I have friends who share the same standards and goals as me and that also set such great examples for me. I feel so blessed.

As for the food part, except for 3 of these pictures, every other picture involved food in some way. Food is my life.

After 15 hours at Disneyland. We were tired.

A couple weeks ago, some friends and I decided we wanted to go to California. The next week, we were on our way to the Golden state. We drove through the night and surprised Crystal and my parents. It was one of the most spontaneous and fun things I've ever done. We had so much fun enjoying the many things that Southern California has to offer. I definitely need to go home more often. Its quite nice.
